It may seem remarkable, but I find that it is true; the longer I live the clearer things become, the sharper my focus comes into view; and as it does the wonderful reality of who Jesus is, more completely dominates my thinking and my aspirations. As I look back on my life, I see God’s loving presence in the lives of so many wonderful people, His own through Jesus, who have lovingly touched my own with their caring, their guiding, their correcting, their encouraging, their inspiring, their interpreting—their always pointing me to Jesus and His love for me and my need for Him. When I recall all of the incredible things they have said and done—through them all—Jesus has been speaking and calling to me—He has been knocking at my hearts door, bidding me to open up and invite Him in to become my Lord and Savior. And by His mercy and His grace He has claimed my heart, my soul, my mind and all my strength—so that as Lord He have given me a new birth into God’s family and continually renews and cleanses me through His Spirit. Life becomes less and less about me and more and more about Jesus because only He can keep me in His Way as He accomplishes His good will and uses His good life to usher me into His wonderful, His marvelous, His eternal Kingdom.
Only Jesus
speaks the
very Word of God.
Only Jesus
reveals the
very face of God.
Only Jesus
opens up the
very heart of God.
Only Jesus
heals us with
the very fingers of God.
Only Jesus
smiles with
the very eyes of God.
Only Jesus searches
for the lost with
the very feet of God.
Only Jesus calls
out truth with
the very mouth of God.
Only Jesus
understands with
the very mind of God.
Only Jesus
covers sin with
the very blood of God.
Only Jesus
quickens people with
the very breath of God.
Only Jesus cares
for us with
the very love of God.
Only Jesus welcomes
us into the Kingdom
with the very victory of God.

And there is salvation
in no one else,
for there is no other name
under heaven
given among men
by which
we must be saved.
